Facility Use and Rental Information


Rules for Use



1.    Capacity of the Parish Hall 155.   Table seating for 88.
2.    Capacity of the Benson Room__________
3.    All facilities must be left in as clean a condition as they were before the event started. Person responsible for cleaning must complete and sign cleaning checklist. Cleaning and trash removal shall occur on the same day as the event.
4.    All Facility equipment must remain inside.
5.    Al Facility furniture must be returned to its original location.
6.    No amplified music is permitted.
7.    Rental/Deposit fees must be paid in full prior to obtaining access to the Facilities for set up.
8.    Facilities will be inspected after use. Security deposit will be used if additional cleaning or repairs are required. If deposit is insufficient to cover additional cleaning or repairs needed, Applicant will pay any such additional costs.
9.    Parking is limited. Please respect private parking lots.
10.    In the event alcoholic beverages will be served, Applicant must provide Emmanuel prior to the event with a certificate (proof) of insurance coverage for alcohol liability, naming Emmanuel as a co-insured. This insurance coverage most often is in the form of a rider to the Applicant’s homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy or to the caterer’s insurance policy.



Parish Hall and Benson Room Cost Schedule

Parish Hall $100 per Hour
Parish Hall and Kitchen $125 per Hour

Wedding Reception
All day use 8 am-10 pm

$1,100 Flat Fee
Benson Room $10 per Hour
Benson Room and Kitchen $15 per Hour

 

Minimum Usage: 2 Hours

 



Deposit: One half of the projected cost is to be paid at the time of reserving the facility. For wedding receptions the remainder of the fee for is due thirty days prior to the event.

Wedding receptions require a $500 Security Deposit, which would be used only in the event that the facility needs additional cleaning or repairs after use. Any part of the Security Deposit not required for cleaning/repair costs will be refunded.

•    Other rates may apply for established pledging members of Emmanuel Parish
•    Deposits on the Benson Room will be waived for regular long-term users (such as 12-step groups and the Girl Scouts) with proven ability to clean the room after use.
•    Rental of the Parish Hall outside of regular church office hours (Tuesday through Friday 9 am to 1 pm) requires an access fee of $100 per day.

 


Wedding Cost Schedule


Making our Church available for the Celebration and Blessing of your marriage means certain costs to the Parish and the devotion of considerable time of the part of several individuals. To offset these costs and in consideration for the time involved, we have established the following wedding cost schedule:
 

 

Use of the Church $500
Organist  $150
Suggested Honorarium for the officiating Episcopal Priest** $200 - $500



** The honorarium for the priest includes wedding planning, the three pre-marital counseling sessions required by the Episcopal Church and the wedding rehearsal.
 



Payment of the church use fee is required at the time of reserving the church for your wedding. The remainder is due in the church office the Friday morning prior to the ceremony. Please make checks for the above payable to “Emmanuel Episcopal Parish of Orcas Island”.

The church use fee includes payment to the Altar Guild for preparing the church for your wedding ceremony.

A separate cost schedule applies should arrangements include the use of the Parish Hall or the grounds for your wedding reception.

Please note: Fees may be modified, upon approval, for established pledging members (at the time of application) of Emmanuel Episcopal Parish.
