Our wonderful church will host its next Dinner Kitchen on Thursday,
February 25. This community dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 PM
in the Parish Hall and is open to all in the community, especially those in need.
There is, of course, no charge for the dinner.
This will be the third in a series of year-round dinners that began in December. As you will recall, the Dinner Kitchens are our Parish effort to serve the needs of the community …” to feed the hunger and give drink to the thirsty.” The dinners are a logical extension of our mission at the Food Bank, where members of our Parish are joined by others to prepare lunch once or twice a month. In fact, our motto is “Lunch at the Food Bank … Dinner in the Kitchen.”
Dinner on the 25th will be feature several beef main dishes and all of the trimmings. There will be something for everyone, including vegetarians. If you can help serve or provide a dish, please call me … you will love the ministry.
